Every Indian phone fills up. No one had fixed it properly.
Unlimited Storage was founded in 2026, after running into the same wall most smartphone owners in India hit sooner or later — a "storage full" notification at exactly the wrong moment, and a set of options that all wanted a monthly subscription in return for space that was never really yours.
Google, iCloud, Dropbox — they all work, technically. But they bill you forever, often in dollars, and they assume you're comfortable enough with tech to set it all up yourself. That leaves out a huge number of Indian users who just want their photos safe without becoming their own IT department.
So the idea was kept deliberately simple: charge once, in rupees, per GB. Help people move their data in person instead of pointing them at an app and hoping for the best. And never ask for a renewal.
We didn't want to build another app that quietly bills you every month. We wanted something you pay for once and never have to think about again.
